Strawberry Layer Cake
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup butter
1½ cups sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup milk
1½ cups chopped strawberries
For the Frosting:
1 cup butter
3 cups powdered sugar
½ cup strawberry jam
Strawberries for garnish
Preparation Steps:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease pans.
Sift flour and baking powder. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla.
Combine dry ingredients with milk, then fold in strawberries.
Bake for 25 minutes, cool completely.
Frost and garnish with fresh strawberries.
