Pepperoni Puff Pastries

Ingredients:

1 sheet puff pastry (thawed and cut into squares)

100g sliced pepperoni

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Prepare the Pastry:

Place a few slices of pepperoni and a generous amount of mozzarella cheese in the center of each puff pastry square.

3. Fold and Seal:

Fold the edges of the pastry to form a pocket and press lightly to seal.

4. Brush with Egg Wash:

Brush the tops with beaten egg.

5. Season:

Sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder over each pastry.

6. Bake:

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and puffed.

7. Serve:

Enjoy warm with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
