Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Base:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
For the Sauce:
3 large eggs
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp yellow mustard
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
For the Topping:
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Beef Mixture:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is browned and the onions are softened. Drain excess fat.
Season with salt and pepper. Transfer the beef mixture to a greased 8×8-inch baking dish.
2. Make the Sauce:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
Pour the sauce evenly over the beef mixture in the baking dish.
3. Assemble the Casserole:
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
Add the crumbled bacon on top of the cheese.
4. Bake:
Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the casserole is heated through.
5. Garnish and Serve:
Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
