Lemon Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
Crust:

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

¼ cup granulated sugar

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Filling:

16 ounces cream cheese, softened

¾ cup granulated sugar

3 large eggs

¼ cup fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Topping (optional):

Whipped cream

Fresh strawberries or lemon slices for garnish

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.

2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Chill while preparing the filling.

3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition. Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until well combined.

4. Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top.

5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is just set. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for 1 hour to cool gradually.

6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

7. Top with whipped cream and garnish with strawberries or lemon slices if desired. Serve and enjoy your creamy lemon cheesecake!
