Chocolate Peanut Tart Recipe

Ingredients:

Crust:

2 cups crushed chocolate cookies or graham crackers

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Filling:

1 cup heavy cream

250g (9 oz) dark chocolate, chopped

2 tbsp unsalted butter

Topping:

½ cup roasted peanuts, chopped

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Crust:

Combine the crushed cookies and melted butter in a bowl. Mix until the texture resembles wet sand.

Press the mixture evenly into a tart pan, including the sides. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

2. Make the Filling:

Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until it starts to simmer.

Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate in a bowl. Let it sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.

Add the butter and mix until glossy.

3. Assemble the Tart:

Pour the chocolate filling into the chilled crust. Smooth the surface with a spatula.

4. Add the Topping:

Sprinkle the chopped peanuts evenly over the top.

5. Chill and Serve:

Refrigerate the tart for at least 2 hours or until set.

Slice and enjoy!
