Ingredients
1tablespoonOil
1cupOnions, finely chopped
1tablespoonGarlic, minced
7-8Baby Potatoes, cut into half (or 2 large potatoes, diced into 1 inch pieces)
685gramsChicken Thighs, skinless and boneless , cut into 1 inch pieces
1Bayleaf
2-3Cloves
6-8Peppercorns, whole
1Green Chilli, finely chopped (or Serrano Pepper)
1tablespoonCoriander Powder
1teaspoonRed Chilli Powder, or chilli flakes
1/2teaspoonTurmeric Powder
1teaspoonGaram Masala Powder
1teaspoonSalt
1cupTomato Puree
1/2cupWater
1tablespoonButter
Chopped coriander for topping
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions and minced garlic. Saute for 3-4 minutes till the onions soften. Transfer this mixture to the slow cooker along with all the other ingredients. Mix well.
- Cover and cook on high for 3.5-4 hours or low for 6 hours. Once the chicken curry is cooked, mix in the chopped coriander and serve hot on top of steamed rice or with some butter naan.
