Ingredients
1kgChicken , boneless skinless thighs ,cut into 1.5 inch pieces
½cupYogurt
2teaspoonSalt, divided
1teaspoon Black Pepper, ground
4tablespoonsGhee
4Onions, large (sliced)
10Cashew nuts, soaked in water for 30 minutes
6Garlic cloves, peeled
1inchGinger, peeled
3Green Chillies / Serrano Peppers
2Cardamom Pods
1Bayleaf
3Cloves
1inchCinnamon stick
1teaspoonCoriander Powder
1/2teaspoonChilli Powder / Cayenne Pepper
1/2teaspoonGaram Masala Powder
3tablespoonsCream
Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken in yogurt, salt and pepper and set aside for 20 minutes. Soak the cashews in water at the same time so that they soften by the time you are ready to use them.
