Ingredients
12Chicken, Wings
1teaspoonOil
Marinade
1tablespoonSoy Sauce, Light
¼teaspoonFish Sauce
4clovesGarlic, minced ,
Dredging
1Egg
½cupBread, Crumbs (I used Panko)
½teaspoonChili Powder
to taste Salt
These sticky chicken wings are crispy and tossed in a sweet, spicy sauce. Perfect for barbecues, parties and picnics!

2tablespoonsKetchup
1tablespoonHoney
½teaspoonChili Powder
Instructions
For the Wings
- Marinate the wings using all the ingredients under marinade for anywhere between half an hour to overnight.
- When ready to bake, pre-heat oven to 220 degree celsius.
Line a tray with aluminium foil (if using) or brush it with oil.
- Beat the egg with salt in a wide dish. In another dish, mix the breadcrumbs with salt and chili powder.
- Dip each wing in egg first and then dredge with the breadcrumb mixture. Line them on the prepared tray.
Brush with oil and place them in the oven.
- After ten minutes, turn them and brush the other side with oil. Bake for another ten minutes.
For the Sauce
Heat a teaspoon of oil in a pan.
- Add the minced garlic and saute for 30 seconds.
- Add all the other ingredients for sauce and simmer for 3-4 minutes till the sauce thickens up.
Toss the wings in sauce while they are still hot. Taste best with some beer on the side!
