Cheesy Garlic Crescent Rolls
Ingredients:
1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup cream cheese, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp poppy seeds or sesame seeds (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, and minced garlic until well combined.
2. Assemble the Rolls: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough tightly, starting from the wide end toward the tip.
3. Brush with Butter: Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush each roll with melted butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and poppy seeds or sesame seeds if desired.
4. Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffy.
5. Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve warm as a snack or appetizer.
