Ingredients:

1 lb elbow macaroni

3 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup butter

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup breadcrumbs for topping

Instructions:

Cook the Macaroni: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, and cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Make the Cheese Sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and whisk to make a roux. Gradually add the milk and cream, whisking constantly until the sauce thickens.

Add the Cheese: Stir in the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until fully melted and smooth. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked macaroni to the sauce and stir until well coated. Pour the cheesy mixture into a greased baking dish.

Top with Breadcrumbs: Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top for a crispy golden finish.

Bake: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 20 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
