Cajun Surf & Turf Burger
“Juicy beef patty topped with Cajun-seasoned shrimp, melted cheddar cheese, and a creamy spicy sauce—all on a buttery brioche bun!”
Ingredients:
For the Beef Patty:
1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp butter (for cooking)
For the Cajun Shrimp:
8 large shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp lemon juice
For the Spicy Sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp hot sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp lemon juice
For Assembly:
2 brioche buns
2 slices cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded lettuce
Instructions:
Prepare the Beef Patty:
Mix ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and Worcestershire sauce.
Form into two patties and set aside.
Cook the Shrimp:
Toss shrimp in olive oil, Cajun seasoning, and smoked paprika.
Sauté in a hot pan for 2 minutes per side until slightly charred.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp and set aside.
Cook the Burgers:
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and melt butter.
Cook burger patties for about 4 minutes per side until browned.
In the last minute, add cheddar cheese on top and cover to melt.
Make the Spicy Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, hot sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, parsley, and lemon juice.
Assemble the Burger:
Toast brioche buns and spread spicy sauce on both sides.
Add shredded lettuce, place the cheesy burger patty, top with Cajun shrimp, and drizzle more spicy sauce.
