Equipment
- My favorite air fryer
Ingredients
4slicesof the bread of your choiceI used white bread
Toppings of your choiceI used butter and jam
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
- Place the bread slices in the air fryer basket or tray in a single layer.
- Air fry them for 3 minutes, flipping the bread after 2 minutes.
Notes
- Always preheat so the bread gets the perfect amount of crispiness.
- If the bread is light and starts to move, place a small wire rack on top of it to keep it down.
- Thin slices crisp quickly, while thicker slices like Texas toast take longer.
- Flipping the bread halfway through the cooking time helps me get it evenly toasted on both sides. I usually flip mine at the 2-minute mark.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or on the counter for a day.
- Reheat leftovers in a preheated air fryer at 400 degrees for 1 to 2 minutes.
