Creamy Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients
For the Shrimp
1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
For the Pasta & Sauce
8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper to taste
¼ cup pasta water (reserve after cooking)
Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain, reserving ¼ cup of pasta water.
Step 2: Cook the Shrimp
Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat.
Add garlic, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Stir for 30 seconds.
Toss in shrimp, season with salt & pepper, and cook 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Sauce
In the same pan, add butter and heavy cream. Stir well.
Add parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Pour in reserved pasta water to loosen sauce if needed.
Step 4: Combine & Serve
Add cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing well to coat.
Top with shrimp, sprinkle with parsley, and enjoy!
