Creamy Garlic Butter Salmon and Shrimp
Ingredients:
2 salmon fillets
200g shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Sear the Salmon and Shrimp:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the salmon fillets and shrimp with paprika, salt, and pepper.
Sear the salmon for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes until pink. Remove and set aside.
2. Make the Sauce:
Melt the butter in the skillet and sauté the garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Add the broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
3. Combine and Serve:
Return the salmon and shrimp to the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over them. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with your favorite sides.
