Chicken and Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients:

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

2 cups broccoli florets, steamed

1 cup cooked rice or pasta (optional)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Ingredients:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Mix the Base:

In a large bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Stir in the cooked chicken, broccoli, and cooked rice or pasta (if using).

3. Assemble the Casserole:

Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.

Top with shredded cheddar cheese.

Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top if desired for a crispy topping.

4. Bake:

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted and golden.

5. Serve:

Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy it warm with a side salad or garlic bread.

Tips:

Add extra veggies like carrots or peas for a more nutritious meal.

Use a rotisserie chicken for convenience.
