Ingredients
2medium to large sweet potatoes1.5 to 2lbs
2tablespoonscornstarch
2teaspoonsCajun seasoning
2 to 3tablespoonsolive oil
saltto taste
Instructions
Peel and slice the sweet potatoes into 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick slices.
- Place the fries in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for 15 to 30 minutes (optional, but I find it does make the sweet potato fries much crispier).
- Dry off the fries completely, then mix them in a dry bowl with the cornstarch and Cajun seasoning. Add in the olive oil and toss them again until they’re evenly mixed and coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F, then place the sweet potato fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry them for 13 to 15 minutes, flipping after 10 minutes. They are done when they are golden and crispy on the edges.
