Rub the ribs generously with your homemade BBQ seasoning on the meat side as well as the rib side.
- Marinate the ribs for 1-2 hours in the fridge (optional, but it will add more flavor).
- Preheat the air fryer to 370 degrees F.
- Remove the ribs from the fridge and arrange the ribs in a single layer in the air fryer tray.
- Cook them at 370°F for a cooking time of 12-15 minutes.
Mist the ribs with broth or apple juice. Flip and rotate the ribs to even out the cooking.
- Cook for another 12-15 additional minutes until the internal temperature of the ribs reaches 145°F. Mist them again halfway through.
- Brush the front, back, and sides of the ribs with the additional BBQ sauce and cook them for an additional 3-5 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
- Let the air fryer BBQ ribs rest for about 10 minutes before slicing between bones.
