Ingredients

(2) 5ouncehalibut fillets

1Tablespoonolive oil

2teaspoonpaprika

1teaspoongarlic powder

½teaspoonsalt

½teaspoonground black pepper

Instructions

  • In a small dish, mix the paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until they are well blended.
  • Rub the olive oil on all sides of both fillets, including the skin side. Generously sprinkle the seasonings on all sides of both fillets.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F. Place the fish in the air fryer without touching each other. Air fry them at 350 degrees F for 6-8 minutes. They’re done when the fish has an internal temperature of 130 degrees.

Notes

Pat the fish dry with a paper towel to help the oil and spices stick better.

Rub the fish generously with oil and coat it well on both sides with the seasoning blend. This gives me that delicious crispiness!

I usually spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray to keep the fillets from sticking.

Leaving space between each fillet in the air fryer is the key to getting each piece of fish crispy and cooked to perfection.

To keep the fish moist, do not overcook it. Once the cook time is up, use a fork to gently nudge the fish to see if it flakes easily and is translucent all the way through.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

  • Reheat leftovers in the air fryer preheated at 350 degrees F for just a few minutes.
