Ingredients

6ozfresh raw green beans

1egg

1egg white

½cuppanko crumbsdivided

2tablespoonsgrated parmesan

½tablespoongarlic powder

1teaspoonpaprika

¼teaspoonsalt

â…›teaspoonground black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F and wash and trim your green beans.
  • Whisk your egg and egg white in a medium bowl.

In a small bowl, use the back of a large spoon and crush ¼ cup of panko crumbs as fine as you can. These smaller crumbs will help coat all of your green beans. In a wide dish, combine the crushed panko and the remaining ¼ cup of panko crumbs, parmesan, and seasoning.

  • Place a few green beans in the egg wash, making sure to coat it well. Use a fork to lift them out, shaking any excess egg off. Place it in the panko and use your fingers to cover the green bean, flipping it over on all sides to get as much covered as possible.
  • Lay your breaded green beans in the basket. Leave room around them to allow them to get nice and crispy. Place them in the air fryer and set the temperature to 400 degrees. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes and then check them.

Serve green bean fries on their own or with your favorite dipping sauce.
