Ingredients
1540 mlcan of chickpeas(approx. 19 ounces or about ¾ cup of dried chickpeas)
¼cuptahini
¼cuplemon juice(juice of about 1 large lemon)
2tablespoonolive oil
2tablespoonaquafaba(chickpea water OR water)
3clovesgarlicpressed
1teaspoonground cumin
½teaspoonpaprika
½teaspooncayenne pepperoptional
salt and black pepperto taste
¼cup feta cheesecrumbled
¼cupfresh parsleychopped

½cupcucumberdiced
â…“cupred bell pepperdiced
2tablespoonblack olivesdiced
2tablespoonred oniondiced
Instructions
- In a high powered blender or food processor add all base ingredients (see notes in full text above for blending tips). Blend on high until smooth (depending on the speed of your blender you may need to stir periodically).
- Spread hummus onto a platter or pour into a container, top with your favourite toppings and serve with pita!
