Caprese salad is a simple summer salad with fresh mozzarella, thick slices of juicy tomatoes, basil and a splash of balsamic vinegar. So easy!

Ingredients

1large tomato, sliced into 8 slices

8ozfresh mozzarella, sliced into 8 slices

5-6basil leaves, sliced

2tspextra virgin olive oil

1tspbalsamic vinegar

salt and fresh pepper

Instructions

Place sliced mozzarella on a large plate or platter.

Top with tomato, olive oil, balsamic, basil, salt and pepper.
